I recently stayed at a budget-friendly motel in Saluda and was pleasantly surprised. The views were breathtaking, especially when the weather was good. The owners were friendly and welcoming, even inviting guests to join them for a campfire and smores. The interior of the motel was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was conveniently located near the highway.

We stayed at Early Blue Motel for a quick weekend trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff, especially Wayne, were incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations for hiking and dining. The location right off I-26 was convenient, and the mountain top views from the backyard were spectacular. The fire pit and seating area looked inviting, although we didn't get to enjoy it due to the weather. The Purple Onion restaurant nearby was really good, and we had the pleasure of witnessing a marriage proposal there! a clean, friendly, and enjoyable stay.

The lodge is conveniently located near restaurants and local wineries, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms are cozy and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The lodge has great views of the mountains, which can be enjoyed from both the front and back areas.

The lack of soundproofing between rooms can be an issue as guests reported being able to hear their neighbors' activities.
